Get ready to start the challenge

The challenge starts on Monday 17th October and runs for 28 days, finishing on Sunday 13th November.

How many ‘Healthy You Points’ can your team earn in 28 days?

You have a choice of six health goals. Pick the health goal that is most relevant to you and follow the Personal Training Plan for that goal over the 28 day challenge.

Each Personal Training Plan has 5 rituals to follow each day, although for the plan for ‘Improve my lifestyle’ you create the rituals you want to follow. You earn one ‘Healthy You Point’ for your team, for each ritual you complete each day (the exception is smoking where you get 5 ‘Healthy You Points’ for every day that you are smoke free) – a maximum of 35 points each week and 140 points for the 4 week challenge.

The team with the most ‘Healthy You Points’ in 28 days is the winner. There is also a prize for the individual who contributes the most ‘Healthy You Points’ to their team.

How to take part

Step 1 – Join a team

Join or set up a team of up to 5 members.

Step 2 – Find out your health age

Follow the link to the health age calculator – find out your health age and understand what areas of your health you should focus on improving.

Choose one health goal that you want to focus on during the 28 day challenge. If you need advice to decide which goal you should focus on, then contact your personal health coach, Andrew, at myhealthcoach@incorpore.co.uk.

 

Step 3 – Download your Personal Training Plan

Once you’ve decided on your health goal, go to the Training Plans section of this website and download your Personal Training Plan. Each training plan has 5 simple rituals to follow each day – it couldn’t be easier! You will also find additional fact sheets to support you.

Use your Personal Training Plan as a training log to record the rituals you complete each day and the ‘Healthy You Points’ you earn each day. There’s also a section for you to record your health age score before the challenge begins and your health age score at the end of the challenge. If you need any help or advice in using your Personal Training Plan, then contact your personal health coach, Andrew, at myhealthcoach@incorpore.co.uk.

Step 4 – Taking part in the challenge

Once the challenge starts, your task is to earn as many ‘Healthy You Points’ as you can, each week, for your team.

Each week runs from Monday to Sunday and the start date is Monday 17th October.

At the end of each week report your total ‘Healthy You Points’ to your Team Manager. You can earn up to 5 ‘Healthy You Points’ each day – it doesn’t matter which Personal Training Plan you follow, each one offers the same number of points to earn.

Step 5 – When the challenge finishes

At the end of the challenge (Sunday 13th November) get your final week’s points to your Team Manager as quickly as possible. Your Team Manager has until 5pm on Friday 18th November to enter your team’s final week’s results, then the challenge will be closed.

To conclude the challenge you also have two tasks to complete before 5pm on Friday 18th November:

  1. Go back to the health age calculator (use the link above) and calculate your heath age again – record your score on your Personal Training Plan.
  2. Complete the online challenge survey. On Monday 14th November, Andrew will email you a link to the survey – you will be asked about the challenge, the points you earned and your health age scores at the start and the end of the challenge.

The survey will only take 3 minutes to complete and all submissions are anonymous.

Completing the survey is very important for us to assess the success of the challenge. You should also be aware that in the event of a tie (i.e. where there are two or more teams with the same point’s total) the team who have the most team members completing the survey will be the winner. If two or more teams are tied on this basis as well, then those teams will be placed into a prize draw to determine the winner.

Because all surveys are completed anonymously, in the event of a tie in the individual competition, those individuals who are tied in first position will be placed directly into a prize draw to determine the winner.

Prizes

  • Team overall prize – £250 of Supercheque Vouchers
  • Individual overall prize – £100 of Supercheque Vouchers
  • Plus, Team name prize – £125 of Supercheque Vouchers

The winners will be announced during the week commencing Monday 5th December.
